Blue Star Museums Program
Missouri State Parks is proud to be a part of the Blue Star Museums Program, which offers free admission to the nation's active-duty personnel, including the National Guard and Reserves, and their families.
This program is a collaborative effort of the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 2,000 museums across the U.S.
Those currently serving in the United States Military and their families receive free admission to museums and historic sites that are part of the Missouri State Parks system by showing their military ID. The 2026 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day – Saturday, May 16 – and ends on Labor Day – Monday, Sept. 1.
The following state parks and historic sites are participating in the program in 2026:
Battle of Lexington State Historic Site, Lexington
Bollinger Mill State Historic Site, Burfordville
Deutschheim State Historic Site, Hermann
First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site, St. Charles
Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site, New Madrid
Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, Jefferson City
Missouri State Museum, Jefferson City
Felix Vallé House State Historic Site, Ste. Genevieve
